Sam and his girlfriend were supposed to carve pumpkins on Halloween but didn’t get around to it. Since Halloween was over when they carved the pumpkins I said they should try a general fall theme.
Will plays on the cat tower more than the cat.
My dad built will a play house in our laundry room. The entrance to it is in the family room adjacent to the laundry room.
Will likes to take his meals down to his play house.
My parents included a doorbell, a overhead light (complete with a switch), and a mailbox. Will loves cause and effect gadgets.
I played another home round of “Chopped”. The episode was called, “Far-Out”. This time the ingredients were: roasted piquillo peppers (I couldn’t find them so I used roasted red peppers), Canadian bacon, tomatillos, and instant noodle soup (I used Ramen’s). I think “Chopped” should have a food blogger episode.
It’s so difficult! I rested Ramen noodle cakes in a tomatillo puree and topped them with a cheesy Canadian bacon mixture. Then I topped the whole mess with a little Romesco sauce. It was different but not disgusting. Ben loved it! It took me ~40 minutes.
I can send you piquillo peppers if you want to experiment with them sometime.
You are such a sweet heart! I will let you know.
