I weighed on Monday April 9th and I finally broke out of my 147 rut. I now weigh 145! Yay!!! I probably would not be so excited if I had not remained at 147 for so long.
So I suppose I did need to put forth a little more effort. I am still on track to meet my July ” Bikini Run” goals.
Also, Ben and I signed up for our very first half marathon! We will run it on July 21st, 2012. My goal for it is not a time goal. I just want to finish the race without walking at all. I have never ran more than 7 consecutive miles so this should prove to be a bit of a challenge. I will worry about run times after I have completed a long race like that without walking. Baby Steps, Right!
The above picture was taken in Sept. 2011. It is really hard to find “before” pictures of myself because who wants to have their picture taken when they do not feel good about the way they look? Especially “whole body” photos! I know that I was pretty close to 167 lbs. in this photo. Which is the weight I started at on January 2nd. 2012. So, 22 lbs. in just over three months. I really don’t think that is too out of line. And I still have ~ three more months to get to my goal weight of 125.
I may look for another before picture. I have not decided yet if I will post a progress photo, or if I will just wait until bikini race day.
