Last week I came across this butternut squash goat cheese dip at How Sweet it is.  I had to make it in order to keep myself from daydreaming about it all day every day!

I’ve been wanting to start up my food blogger recipe reviews again and decided this recipe would be the perfect bridge back into the category.

I’ve been following How Sweet it is for at least 3 years.  Jessica Merchant is the creator of the crushingly creative blog.  She wrote a cookbook that was released in 2013 called Seriously Delish.

It’s hard for me to describe how absolutely inspired Jessica Merchant is.  You MUST visit her site and spend a minimum of 8 hours!

If Julie’s Jazz ever grows up she wants to be just like How Sweet it is!

Until now I’ve never made any recipes from her site using exact ingredients and measurements.  I have, however, used her recipes for a million different ideas!

I’m overwhelmed by how she can come up with inventive and truly artistic ideas day after day! She does all of her own fabulous photography and I have gleaned many of her ideas and tips for my own blog including using single floor tiles for backgrounds in my photos. Oh and, did I mention, she’s gorgeous and stylish!  Not that it matters, but it is a little unfair.

OK, back to the dip!

The thing is, it turned out exactly like she described it! “Tangy, creamy, and ridiculously easy!”

I didn’t get to the pita triangles because I had a bag of Stacy’s calling my name.  And, I really could have just used a spoon if I didn’t have those, SERIOUSLY!

So, that’s it.  Now all you have to do is click your way over to How Sweet it is, print the recipe, go to the store for a few simple ingredients, and whip yourself up a bowl.  FYI…., if you’re going to share you might want to double the recipe!
