Every year I like to be at home on Christmas Eve. Any and All Family is more than welcome to come over. Kid gifts are opened, and we eat. I like to make an array of appetizers.  This year most of my extended family was out of town so I kept the food pretty low key. Stuffed Mushrooms, Garlic and Brie, Spinach and Artichoke Dip, Pork and Seeds, and Goodies from Deanna.
Everything I made turned out Great!  It is fun to have an appetizer dinner once in a while!
Now, the Christmas Goodies that Deanna brought over were really the star of the show though!  Deanna is my Mother in Law. She is one of the greatest people I know and, more importantly, probably THE greatest baker I personally know.  She is a wonderful cook too, but her forte is definitely baking!  She brought over:  sweetie pies (chocolate with cream filling, and pumpkin with spiced cream cheese filling); oatmeal cookies with chocolate, nuts, and candied cherries; brownies with a marshmallow and peanut topping; Divinity; Peanut Clusters; and Fudge filled with Divinity and green and res candied cherries. Now keep in mind that every single bit of this was homemade! She even apologised for it being quote,”Not Much This Year”.  It was all incredible, and then some!

P.S. I forgot to mention the homemade spritz cookies! YUM!
P.P.S. Sorry no recipes, my apps were super simple W/O recipes, and Goodies were not mine. If I get requests for recipes maybe I will try to get them and post them later.
