I love Easter because it is all about family and getting together around a table full of festive and fantastic food! It is kind of like Thanksgiving, only without football, it is on a Sunday instead of a Thursday, and it is really all about Jesus. OK, so it is not like Thanksgiving except for the part about getting together with family and food. Which it my favorite part! So this past Easter Sunday we had Easter dinner at my mother-in-laws home. We have actually done this, I believe, every year since we have been married. Now my mother-in-law (Deanna) is a magnificent baker which I will always admire her for. She is also a superb cook, I know, it’s not fair! And then, to really add insult to injury, Deanna is a magnificent entertainer! She thinks of everything! This year her table decorations also doubled as parting gifts. As you can see, in the following photos, everything was beautiful and everything tasted wonderful! Thanks for the leftovers; they were just as good the next day!
