Today has been a tough day food wise.
I’m not hungry. I just want to eat.
I want to eat something substantial and calorie dense. Like, a giant bowl full of leftover funeral potatoes, warmed up in the microwave, with extra cheese melted on top!
It all started at the gym today. Whenever I do workouts on my own I track everything I do (exercise/weight/reps). Half way through my workout I deleted the entire thing by accident. After that I was kinda frustrated and lost. Ben helped me by running through a couple of pyramid rep things for back, biceps, and chest which were tough. But, I’m still having a hard time getting over losing today’s workout diary. It’s like I didn’t get a good workout since I don’t have a record of it.
I’m not to the point yet with my diet or my workouts that I can simply trust my instincts that I’m getting enough, or too much of, either.
So a derailed workout got me thinking about cheese, pasta, potatoes, and cake! It’s ridiculous!
So I spent the rest of the day trying not to derail my diet.
Pinning super yummy looking food is one of the methods I use. I know it sounds like torture but it actually helps.
I also watch fitness vlogs and read fitness blogs to keep from pointless eating (when I’m not hungry or don’t need the calories).
If all else fails I go to bed. Like, right now, I’m going to bed!
