I suppose I’ve always been subconsciously aware of this. But, meal prep serves purposes for me beyond getting the correct nutrition.
Not only does it allow me to mindlessly slog through my day without having to think about calories, protein, carbohydrates, fat, etc…….
It also gives me something to look forward to throughout the day.
For example: I don’t need to eat garbage at 9am because I know I can have x, y, and z at 10.
Meal prep is really just a form of ammunition for the mental game of breaking eating habits that are decades old.
Another Monday has come and gone. Three more work days until the weekend and the holidays. I can’t wait!
