{my water bottle}

Ben and Will write on my water bottles. Ben does it to distinguish mine from his. Will simply labels everything in the house.

He’ll write the word wall on the wall so we remember it’s a wall!

I taught indoor cycling tonight. My trainer took my class. It made me a little nervous because, of course, I don’t want to mess up in front of her. Plus, I know she is a serious (outdoor) cyclist. And, aside from training for a sprint triathlon a couple of years ago I’ve always been an indoor type cyclist. So, in my mind I said to myself, “Well, if nothing else, I hope she likes the music I play!”

When I teach indoor cycling I always wonder what people people are thinking. I wonder if, and hope that, they’re getting a good workout. Sometimes I’ll ask if they like a song or not and no one will say a word. It makes me wonder if they are shy, or maybe they’re just focused, or maybe they’re out of breath.

I have to think about when I take classes. I’m not very vocal. But usually it’s because I don’t want to come across as annoying or stupid. And I’m usually pretty focused (for the same reasons).

I think it was a pretty good class. I burned over 500 calories!
