I’ve read that you don’t have to get your muscles all sore to grow muscle. But, when I get sore I really feel (psychologically) like my muscles are growing. 

I read that muscle soreness comes from a buildup of lactic acid. I’ve read that muscle soreness comes from microscopic tears in your muscles. I’ve also read that muscle soreness comes the connective tissue in your muscle fibers.

I guess the bottom line is if you keep lifting heavy shit over and over again then hopefully your muscles will grow!

I have so many beliefs that I’m finding out aren’t necessarily true. And, even if something works for someone else, it may not work for me.

There’s a lot of crappy information out there on the Internet. It can get pretty frustrating trying to sift through it all. Especially all of the diet stuff. 

Luckily I enjoy it! I could literally spend hours each day searching, reading, and researching diet and exercise!
