As adults, we don’t get many snow days.

But, we all got one today! 

I decided to celebrate with these protein waffles and sleep!

After I got the message that the roads were too dangerous to drive on. I hopped back into my still warm bed and slept until 10:30am!

I normally get up at 4:30 am on the weekdays and 7 or so on the weekends. So my body must have really needed it.

Sleep is probably my biggest issue right now! I don’t get enough of it!

It’s not that I can’t sleep. When I go to bed as soon as my head hits the pillow I’m out! It’s that I feel like I can’t get to bed at a decent hour because I have so much going on.

It’s got to change! Muscle needs rest to grow. And I can’t rely on snow days to catch up on it!
