Miraculous Mormon Meat Marinade & A Weight Update

This recipe was adapted from a Mormon guy I work with. It rendered the meat beyond tender and flavorful!  No offense is to be taken, because some of the best food I have eaten has come out of Mormon kitchens.  It was just a bit of a cliche because of the sprite.  Mormons like to cook with soda pop.  Some time I may even post about the wonderful culinary world of Mormons according to Julie, who knows?
Miraculous Mormon Meat Marinade “Featuring Sprite”
-2 c. Sprite
-1 c. soy sauce
-1 T. fresh grated ginger
-2 t. fresh minced garlic
-2 T. olive oil
Combine all ingredients in a med bowl.  Whisk to combine.  Pour in a gallon sized Ziploc, add your favorite meat.  I have tried it and liked it with chicken, pork, and beef.  Let sit in marinade anywhere from 4 to 24 hours.  Grill, and then EAT IT!
You guys probably thought I forgot about it this week. But, I did not.  I weighed in at 132 lbs. (again!) on 06/04/2012.  My stats. for last week are as follows:
